1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations can be requested at any time before the scheduled trip starts by contacting ORYXJOURNEY via WhatsApp at +962 79 198 2184 or through your account dashboard.

Under the current cash-on-arrival payment model, no advance payment is required. If a booking is cancelled before the trip starts, no charge will have been made and no refund is required.

Once a trip has started, the booking is considered active and any payments already made for the service are non-refundable. No-shows may be treated as a cancellation after a reasonable waiting period, at the driver's discretion.

If ORYXJOURNEY is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to circumstances on our side, the customer will not be charged. If an online payment was made, an eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method.

2. What's Included / Not Included

Every booking includes:

• A private vehicle reserved exclusively for your group
• A professional driver for the full duration of your booked route
• All fuel and applicable road toll costs
• Pickup from your hotel, residence, or any agreed address, and drop-off at your destination

Not included:

• Entry tickets to archaeological sites, nature reserves, or attractions (e.g. Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash — these are purchased on-site)
• Accommodation or overnight stays of any kind
• Meals, refreshments, or personal expenses
• Licensed guide or tour narration services — not included in standard bookings and available separately upon request
• Travel insurance

ORYXJOURNEY is a private transportation service. Unless explicitly stated in a specific package description, no accommodation, guide services, or attraction tickets are included in any booking.

3. Terms & Conditions

By making a booking with ORYXJOURNEY, you confirm that all passenger information provided is accurate, complete, and that you are authorised to book on behalf of all travellers in your group.

• Passengers are responsible for being at the agreed pickup location on time. ORYXJOURNEY cannot be held liable for missed flights, connections, or other appointments arising from a late passenger arrival.
• Any damage to a vehicle caused by passengers will be the financial responsibility of the lead booker.
• Passengers must follow reasonable instructions from the driver relating to vehicle safety, route, and scheduling.
• ORYXJOURNEY reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent or greater capacity without prior notice, should operational circumstances require it.
• Routes and itineraries may be adjusted due to road conditions, weather, border restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances. ORYXJOURNEY will communicate any material changes as promptly as possible.
• ORYXJOURNEY services operate exclusively within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

4. Service Disclaimer

ORYXJOURNEY provides professional private ground transportation and driver coordination services within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Our drivers are experienced professionals with thorough knowledge of Jordan's roads, destinations, and geography. They provide attentive, door-to-door private transportation and are pleased to offer local recommendations where appropriate. This is not a licensed guide service — drivers do not provide formal tour narration or guided commentary as part of a standard booking. A formal licensed guide can be arranged separately upon request and may involve an additional cost.

ORYXJOURNEY accepts no liability for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during visits to third-party attractions, during activities outside the vehicle, or arising from site closures, entry rule changes, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Travellers are strongly encouraged to carry adequate travel insurance.

All vehicles are maintained to current roadworthiness standards and carry third-party liability insurance as required by Jordanian law.

5. Payment Terms

The current payment method is cash on arrival, paid directly to the driver at the start of the trip. No advance payment is required for standard bookings. Your booking is confirmed at the time of reservation — payment is settled in person when your trip begins.

• Prices are displayed in your selected currency (JOD, USD, or EUR) and are fixed at the time of booking.
• No deposit or advance payment is required under the current cash-on-arrival model.
• Additional services requested by the customer (such as extra stops, extended hours, or licensed guide coordination) may create additional charges, which will be communicated before the trip.
• Where online payment is available — for selected bookings or if re-enabled in the future — payments are processed through a secure third-party payment provider.
• ORYXJOURNEY does not store or have access to customer card details.
• Eligible refunds for online payments, where applicable, are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

6. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is collected solely to fulfil your booking, assign a driver, communicate with you about your journey, and improve our service. We handle your data with care and in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Driver assignment requires sharing your first name and contact number with the driver assigned to your trip.
• If online payment is used, payment details are handled entirely by the secure third-party payment provider — ORYXJOURNEY does not store card details.
• By using ORYXJOURNEY, you agree to receive booking confirmations and service-related communications via email or WhatsApp.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@oryxjourney.com.
