Jordan Private Driver Cost

Understand private-driver pricing in Jordan for Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, and airport transfers.

How private-driver pricing works

Pricing is always per vehicle, not per person. A private car for 4 people costs the same as the same car for 1 person. This makes private transportation increasingly cost-effective as group size grows — a group of 4 often pays less per person than a shared tour.

The price includes your private vehicle, professional driver, fuel, and all standard road costs. There are no add-on charges at the time of travel. The price you see at booking is the price you pay.

Popular single-day routes like Amman to the Dead Sea are significantly less expensive than longer routes to Petra or Wadi Rum, because the distance covered is much shorter. Multi-day routes that cover multiple destinations in one journey are typically quoted as a combined fixed price for the full itinerary.

ORYXJOURNEY operates on fixed pricing. Prices are not dynamically adjusted by season, demand, or time of booking. The price shown at the time of your quote is the price you pay.

What the transport price does not include

Entrance fees for sites (such as Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, or the Baptism Site), meals, hotel stays, guide services, and any activities on-site are not included. These are paid separately at each destination.

Use the Customise Your Trip page to enter your route — from, to, date, passengers, and vehicle type. You will see a fixed price before confirming anything. No payment is required to see a quote.
